A website is a powerful tool in carrying communication as it provides a way to share and exchange information over the internet to individuals, organizations or agencies.
Having a website is very useful to a government agency like the Bureau of Fire Protection. It is a way to publicise and promote services and activities, therefore increasing the trust and awareness of the public. It is very advantageous because it is inexpensive and efficient solution compared to other ways of communications. It is very cost-effective way to exchange information. Publishing information on regulations, procedures and other aspects of an organization’s work instead of disseminating through direct human intervention reduces staff’s time and effort. It also enables BFP to provide news and information or changes to the public easily and relatively quicker than with traditional way. The website also provides access BFP information in an easy and user-friendly way. It also allows the public to express their opinions, isssues and concerns and create compelling calls to action.
