Community Service

Scouting is an activity wherecamaraderie develops. This activity also aims to improve more the skills andability to become an independent person but with courageous heart, healthy mindand strong body. Involvement in this kind of activity makes our youth morematured in all aspects that an individual must possess especially in buildingconfidence and self-esteem.

Mayor Cesario A Pimentel NationalHigh School conducted School BSP Camporee and GSP Encampment last September20-22, 2018 in School Compound, Brgy.01, San Luis, Aurora. They requested aSpeaker/Facilitator on Emergency Preparedness as one of the Basic Module ofBSP/GSP. As response, Mun.C,Operation SFO2 Patrick T Villanueva conducted alecture on Emergency Preparedness and he included topics on Fire Safety. Healso contributed insights on different ways of proper carrying of victims incase of any accident or any untoward incidents may possibly occur. Earthquakedrill was also conducted during that time. They used their tents as theirshelter during the activity. Scouters participated well in all activitiesprepared by the BFP- SLFS.

On the other side, SLFS Dutypersonnel assisted the Philippine Army by supplying water during the ObstacleCourse of the scouters which was happened on the same day. The ScoutCoordinator requested also a delivery of water consumption on morning andafternoon during the School Camporee which was responded by the San Luis FireDuty Personnel.
Itwas a great job imparted to the young scouters where they can adapt differentlearnings and applied it in time of emergencies or some situations that needsit.
